Loretto, Minnesota is a small city that is in the far western region of Hennepin County. The population is just over 650 residents, and the city covers a land area of 0.3 square miles. This city is unique in that it is a part of a metropolitan area, but its size allows it to be a more private and charming community that is nestled away from the busy and loud environment that is characteristic of most commercial areas.
Located 11.2 miles from Plymouth and 12.4 miles from Wayzata, two major suburban employment centers, Loretto has access to a number of jobs and amenities found in these larger cities. Additionally, Loretto is only 30 minutes (24 miles) from downtown Minneapolis.
